Jiangsu Yongjie smoothly shipped to the three Gorges Zhangpu Phase II offshore booster station

On August 16, the upper block of the offshore booster station of the Three Gorges Zhangpu Liuao Offshore Wind Farm Phase II project carried by Jiangsu Yongjie was successfully rolled onto the ship and shipped to Zhangpu Offshore Wind Farm on August 17.

The upper block of the offshore booster station is 48.3 meters long, 40 meters wide, 26 meters high and weighs 3,650 tons, which is truly the "big heart" of the offshore wind farm. Due to the large size and weight of the upper block of the booster station, the ballast operation requirements of SPMT vehicles and ships are high.

As the general contractor of vehicle and vessel integrated transportation of this project, our company is equipped with a professional project operation team to actively participate in the maritime review meeting, and efficiently complete a series of support services such as weighing the booster station, technical scheme preparation, roll-on equipment, and ship binding, to further enhance the comprehensive strength of Jiangsu Yongjie Project.

It is reported that the second phase of the Three Gorges Zhangpu Liuao Offshore Wind Farm project is located in the outer sea area on the east side of Zhangpu Liuao Peninsula, with an area of about 30.9 square kilometers. The total designed installed capacity is 400 megawatts, and the annual on-grid electricity can exceed 1.6 billion KWH, save about 500,000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 1.36 million tons per year.

The successful completion of the upper block roll-on shipment of the Three Gorges Zhangpu Phase II Offshore booster Station fully demonstrated the super capacity of Jiangsu Yongjie in the general contracting of offshore wind power transportation, and also laid a solid foundation for the offshore lifting and grid-connected power generation of the second phase offshore booster station project of the Three Gorges Zhangpu Liuao Offshore Wind Power Project.
