Recently, our company successfully completed the operation of three heavy-duty "MERO 3 modules" ro-ro ships of Petrobras, the heaviest of which is about 3,600 tons.
In order to ensure the safety and efficiency of the module loading steps, the project team conducted on-site investigation in advance, carried out scheme formulation, drawing design, tooling design, road survey, slope measurement, ground leveling, stability calculation, etc., and conducted on-site technical disclosure with customers for many times, providing a solid guarantee for the smooth loading of subsequent modules.
The project mobilized nearly 370 axes of SPMT to complete the on-site transfer, jacking and heightening, ro-ro loading and lashing of MERO 3 modules. During the loading operation, in the face of the influence of weather, the operation team combined with weather factors such as tide changes, wind speed and waves to conduct comprehensive analysis to ensure that the connecting slide and the dock slide were aligned and leveled, to ensure that the module was smoothly loaded on the ship, and the comprehensive plan with simple, economical and good experience was output to the customer, and a satisfactory answer was submitted to the owner.
The successful ro-ro operation demonstrated Jiangsu Yongjie's excellent transportation technical ability and professional operational strength, and at the same time demonstrated the strength of "Made in China" and the ability of "Jiangsu Yongjie" to transfer oversized parts of marine engineering modules, so that "the heavy equipment of the country can be built and transported".
